Deleuze and Guattari in A Thousand Plateaus state, “We know nothing about a body until we know what it can do, in other words, what its affects are, how they can or cannot enter into composition with other affects, with the affects of another body, either to destroy that body or to be destroyed by it, either to exchange actions and passions with it or to join with it in composing a more powerful body.”

Jinbin Chen Tianyi:
A sentence without background is like without teeth. It does not bite anymore.
With the norms of exhibitions, the Grindr blue, a boy in his pajama and all the true or fictional stories he tells, there is an attempt to resonate the aesthetic pleasure and the sexual pleasure to form a double confession, which might be not fully sincere or needed at all: a confession of both my life itself and the truth that after all my art is the extension of myself and it does not escape from being biographical.

Jacky Jaan-Yuan Kuo:
Ineffective conversations discontinue during a meal, yet undetermined words and mutual understandings are expected to be followed with smooth after the foods - patriarchy often reigns supreme, especially in my personal domestic memory. Through examining pleasures of eating and the erotics of display, I wish to deface the vulnerability and absurdity of masculinity to see a fragment of a body which is represented somewhere else fully.

He said to a viewer,“Du må unnskylde at jeg dytter deg unna, men jeg er ikke vant med denne formen for kjærlighet.”
(Please forgive me to push you away. Because I am not familiar with this kind of love.)
